Passing Through

This series explores the quiet, fleeting moments that unfold within the everyday landscape of Brighton. The people in these photographs appear almost as passing figures, moving through the frame, crossing the beach, resting, cycling through an open space, or standing at the edge of the sea.

Caught between one place and the next, they seem momentarily removed from whatever came before or will come after. There is a sense of reflection in these pauses: brief instances of solitude, observation, and stillness within a place that is constantly moving.

The photographs capture these moments without knowing their beginning or their end, leaving only a glimpse of someone passing through.
