A venture into Street Photography

Hello, Clarkestreet here. I’ve been shooting on film on and off for about 15 years now. I studied photography at college where we were the last year to we work in the darkroom before it got ripped out! I fell in love with the creativity and the process, but have struggled since in terms of projects and story telling. Usually I just kind of shoot what I’m doing day to day, but there’s no real direction or story to it. This year however, I’ve started purposefully going out to take street photographs, which was helped along by the lab running the 1 hour challenge. My intention is to continue shooting on the streets to find out what I’m drawn too, what subjects catch my eye, what they are trying to say etc. Once I have figured that out, I can start putting some kind of body of work together. So think of these images as a kind of pre curser to something much larger in the future.
Cheers for looking!
